Chicken breasts with Provence herbs, kohlrabi and dried fruits

 Ingredients

  • 4Chicken fillets
  • 500gkohlrabi
  • 80gdried apricots
  • 60gpeanuts
  • 200gbrown
  • 2tsbutter
  • 1Herbs of Provence from Provence
  • 1cssugar
  • -salt pepper

Preparation tips



  1.      Cut the apricots into 4. Cut the chestnuts into 2.
  1.      Cut the chicken breasts into strips of approximately 1cm. Peel the kohlrabi, cut it into 8 and slice it into thin slices.
  1.      In a large skillet or wok, melt the butter and add the chicken strips. Salt, pepper and sprinkle with Provençal herbs. When they are golden brown, put them in a dish and keep warm. In the same pan, add the kohlrabi slices, dried apricots, chestnuts and sugar. Add salt and pepper. Add a splash of water and continue cooking, covered, for 10 to 12 minutes. The kohlrabi should remain slightly crunchy.
  1.      Once cooked, add the roasted peanuts. Sprinkle with the remaining Provence herbs, adjust the seasoning if necessary and serve immediately.
